We integrate music into every aspect of rehab, including the creation of personalized playlists that resonate emotionally with clients’ experiences (their recovery soundtracks) as well as music-specific programming that allow clients to engage emotionally and physiologically with treatment.
For example, our pump-up sessions engage dormant-muscle motion and provide a fitness benefit, while our Songs of Life Programs help clients safely confront origins and sustaining factors of their addiction in a way that talk-therapy often can’t. Feel-Good Friday, Open-Mic and other live-performance experiences offer chances to engage with musicians and artists who have been through addiction, while also providing a forum for clients to showcase their talents and tell their stories and experiences.
We also offer musically assisted therapeutic components, like songwriting, performance, production and more. The question is really…how don’t we use music? These techniques are offered alongside medically supervised detox, in-depth psychotherapy and other supplemental modalities. We use music to engage existing evidence-based addiction treatment models.
Our Austin, TX, Lake Worth, FL, and Brentwood, TN facilities offers on-site medically supervised detoxification. Programs are administered by our team of addiction-trained doctors and nurses.
